Each formulation arises from a targeted research and development activity, which includes numerous controls such as, for example, mechanical tests, verification of durability and behaviour of materials after exposure to atmospheric agents or aggressive substances, in line with the increasingly demanding demands of the building industry.
At the base of our production there is a clear vision: to offer reliable technical solutions, with attention to the use of resources.
For this reason, at the choice of quality raw materials, in the formulations that allow it, aggregates from our quarry (at zero kilometer), sands of regional origin and recycled materials or by-products, according to a logic of circular economy. Many of our products meet specific requirements of Minimal Environmental Policy (CAM) for construction, translating these choices into documented features.
Quality for us is a transversal value, which involves the entire supply chain: from the choice of raw materials to the monitoring of production parameters, to the verification on semi-finished products and finished products. Each stage contributes to ensuring the quality and consistency of stated performance.
Because without research there can be no real quality, and without quality there can be no progress in building.

Thanks to this structure, Cugini is today an example of Italian excellence,
capable of producing and distributing 400 thousand tons of products
for the construction industry, limestone fillers, hydraulic binders
and pre-mixed mortars, characterized by one of the most important performances:
the consistency, monitored and certified, of quality over time.

from law compliance to technological excellence, reliability,
safety and performance in the time of our products.
In the European context the ETA, or European Technical Assessment (European Technical Assessment), issued by a Technical Evaluation Body (TAB),
certifies the performance of a product or building system which is not included in a specific harmonised standard (EN).
Cugini required and obtained several ETAs on construction systems such as thermal insulation systems ETICS, based onEAD 040083-00-0404 or
on systems CRM (Composite Reinforced Mortar) according toEAD 340392-00-0104.
Getting an ETA allows the manufacturer to place CE marking on the product and issue the DoP, demonstrating the conformity of the product
or the system to the essential requirements established in EAD and ETA itself.
In summary, ETA is an important tool for evaluating and marketing innovative and non-standardized products (or construction kits)
ensuring compliance with the essential requirements and facilitating free movement in the European market.
